In ArcGIS Pro, the Append tool can be used to load new data from the external feature class to the existing hosted feature layer, provided the hosted feature layer and the external feature class have the same field schema and both contain a Global ID field. Several tools including Calculate Field, Integrate, Append, Snap, Align Features, and others have a toggle button next to the Run button on the tool dialog to Enable Undo. I have one shapefile with ~5,600 points, and another with ~4,200,000 points. I would like to combine these as one, then export as a flat text file/CSV. I've tried using the "Append" tool , and made sure all fields were named / formatted exactly the same, but it is not working.
